Starting a Business

In today's edition of my blog I want to talk about starting a business. In the democratic, capitalistic society that we live in, anyone can start a business. Why start a business? My answer to that is WHY NOT start a business especially for those who are in school and/or are currently looking for a job. Quite frankly everyone in that position should start a business. You have nothing to lose but your own time and to boot starting a business will build up your resume and maybe even your bank account.

A friend mentioned to me the other day that he had applied to a tutoring job in which the position would pay him a part time salary. I was elated for him as he had to be thrifty the whole summer. Now, after asking him the usual what, where, when, and how questions about the job I got around to asking about his boss. He said that his boss was a youngish looking law school student. That goes to show you that you don't have to be successful or experienced to start a business. I mean, here's this early twenty something kid who's about to start a semester of law school interviewing my friend for a position that he created!

The desire to start a business comes from ambition and if started the right way can benefit your lifestyle. If you want proof, just ask my friend's new 23 year old boss.
